Issues with Custom Templates

TL;DR: Using page builders like Elementor Pro or Divi to create custom product or checkout templates may cause issues. These are often difficult to debug, and we cannot provide support for them. If you need advanced customization, we recommend working with a WooCommerce expert.

When using Donation Platform for WooCommerce, you may be tempted to create custom templates with page builders such as Elementor Pro, Divi, or similar tools. While this can offer a lot of design flexibility, it can also introduce conflicts.

Donation products rely on WooCommerce’s built-in product and checkout functionality. When you create custom templates, you are essentially overriding parts of this functionality. This can change how the product or checkout pages behave and may lead to unexpected issues.
Unfortunately, these problems are often very complex and difficult to debug. Because the root cause usually lies in how the page builder modifies WooCommerce’s core templates, we are not able to provide support for troubleshooting or fixing these issues.

If you need a custom design or template beyond what the standard WooCommerce and WordPress tools allow, we recommend working with an experienced WooCommerce Developer.
