TL;DR: Gift Aid is not yet a native feature. You can easily add it by using the free Flexible Checkout Fields plugin to add a “Gift Aid” checkbox to your WooCommerce checkout page.
Current Support Status
At this time, Donation Platform for WooCommerce does not have a native, built-in Gift Aid toggle. However, because our plugin integrates directly with the standard WooCommerce checkout process, you can use any checkout field editor to collect Gift Aid declarations.

How to Add Gift Aid to Your Checkout
To remain compliant and collect declarations, we recommend using a checkout manager plugin.
Recommended (free) Plugin: Flexible Checkout Fields for WooCommerce (or any similar WooCommerce Checkout Manager).
Setup Steps:
- Install a Checkout Editor: Download and activate your preferred checkout field manager.
- Add a New Field: Create a “Checkbox” field in the Billing or Additional Fields section.
- Configure the Label: Use a legally compliant Gift Aid declaration.

Suggested Wording:
“Yes, I want to Gift Aid this donation and any donations I make in the future or have made in the past 4 years to [Your Charity Name]. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year, it is my responsibility to pay any difference.”
